Only Dogs is a specialist dog grooming salon on Lingfield High Street, within easy reach of East Grinstead. Its approach centres on canine welfare, patient handling and helping dogs feel more comfortable with routine grooming, particularly those that are nervous or have struggled at other salons.
Dog grooming in Lingfield
The salon offers full grooming appointments for a wide range of breeds and coat types, with washing, drying, brushing, clipping or scissor finishing according to each dog’s requirements. Owners can also enquire about hand stripping, de-shedding, nail care and Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning. Puppy introduction appointments aim to familiarise younger dogs with grooming equipment and handling gradually.
A welfare-led approach
Only Dogs is run by a qualified groomer who also has canine behaviour training. This combination shapes the salon’s emphasis on individual dogs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Staff discuss coat condition and grooming requirements with owners and prioritise comfort where a coat is tangled or heavily matted. The salon’s purpose-built bathing and grooming facilities accommodate dogs of different sizes.
Find the salon at 14 High Street, Lingfield, Surrey, RH7 6AA, opposite the Co-op. Short-stay parking bays nearby may help with drop-off and collection. Appointments should be arranged in advance, and owners of anxious dogs can explain any handling concerns when booking.
