Experience the excitement of medieval jousting at Hever Castle as the Knights of Royal England return for their 40th anniversary season. Watch armoured knights compete on horseback and on foot in a traditional tournament filled with galloping horses, dramatic stunts, falls, fights, fanfares and live commentary.
Visitors can meet Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and the Royal Foot Soldiers before joining the knights’ procession from the Castle Forecourt to the events field. This year’s light-hearted Battle of the Queens story draws inspiration from Anne Boleyn and Anne of Cleves, bringing Tudor history to life for the whole family.
Jousting takes place on selected dates from 11 July to 31 August 2026. The tournament begins at 2.15pm and lasts approximately 75 minutes. Entry is included with admission to Hever Castle, with free seating available on the grass banks and limited stand seating costing £2 per person, payable in cash.
Book your admission tickets and prepare for an afternoon of Tudor pageantry and action at Hever Castle.
